A while ago I had a Singapore Airlines Cargo Boeing 747 freighter registration 9V-SFD thunder over my head. Whipped out my camera and caught a few unusual images. One does not get to see the belly of a plane this close very frequently.
By this time next year, Singapore Airlines will retire its Boeing 747-400 fleet. The venerable MegaTop will be seen no more. Singapore Airlines Cargo though, will continue operating the 747F MegaArk.
On another occasion, I managed to get a picture of Singapore Airline's Boeing 777-300 9V-SYL at night. Due to a delay on the part of SQ, the flight did not get a contact stand. One of the rare occasions the plane was out in the open, at Bengaluru International Airport. If you click on the image and view the original high resolution image, the close-up of the cockpit shows the flight crew.
