Sadly this is a sight we cannot expect to see in Bangalore for the foreseeable future. In a re-structuring of it's international operations Kingfisher Airlines has stopped it's first and sole wide-body international flight from Bangalore.

Starting tonight, Kingfisher Airlines IT 071 will depart Mumbai at 22:55 and arrive at Hong Kong at 08:05 the next day. IT 072 will depart Hong Kong International Airport Terminal 2 at 14:05 and arrive in Mumbai at 5:50 pm.

The Kingfisher Airbus A330-200 is considered one of the most lavishly appointed. It features a two classes, with 30 seats in Kingfisher First (Business Class) and 187 in the economy Kingfisher Class.
Service on board Kingfisher First features a social area comprising a full-fledged bar staffed with a bartender and a break-out seating area just nearby, fitted with 2 couches and bar stools, in-seat massagers on every seat, and in-seat power adapters.
The entire aircraft features the Airbus mood lighting and the best in-flight entertainment system of any Indian carrier.
The aircraft are not being used intensively, and it is possible that Kingfisher might squeeze another flight like Mumbai Dubai out of the aircraft.
