Thai Airways International Public Company Limited (THAI) announces its Award for Excellence in Magazine Design for the in-flight magazine, Sawasdee.
THAI’s in-flight magazine, Sawasdee , recently won its third award. The Excellence in Magazine Design was announced earlier by The Society of Publishers in Asia (SOPA), and gaining this comment from the judges, “dramatic use of art photos, goes beyond the standards of the in-flight magazine genre.” The SOPA Awards for Editorial Excellence were established as a tribute to editorial excellence in both traditional and new media, and were designed to encourage editorial vitality throughout the region. Previously Sawasdee also won an Award of Excellence at the 2012 Asian Publishing Awards and the Bronze Award in the category of Design: Most Improved Publication, B2C at the Custom Content Council’s 2012 Pearl Awards.
Dr. Sorajak Kasemsuvan , THAI President, said THAI is most honored to have received this award. Through the dedication of the editorial teams at THAI and Publicitas (Thailand), Sawasdee ’s publisher, in developing quality publication that customers on board and on the ground can enjoy a variety of contents, including striking images, information about places to discover, and cultural events.
